Pastors Aubrey & Susana Avery joined North East PFWB Church as Senior Pastors in March of 2026. Aubrey has been an ordained minister with the PFWB for 20 years; having served in various capacities of ministry including Youth Leaders/Pastor, Worship Leaders/Pastor, Associate Pastor, Senior Pastor, as well as Short term missions’ trips to Canada, Mexico, Cuba, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Brazil. He has also lived on the mission field in Guatemala for a little over 3 years. He has Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Education (BRE) from Heritage Bible College and a Master’s Degree in Teaching English As A Second Language (TESL) from Southeastern University. Now, Aubrey & Susana are also serving as the Directors of US Hispanic Ministries for the PFWB Church.
Through their life journey, both Aubrey & Susana have discovered that their heart is people. Their passion is that people of all languages, ethnicities, and cultural differences come to the saving knowledge of who Jesus Christ is. Their focus and prayer is that they live a life and service to God that reflects the change that God has done in their life and draws people to want to know more of who Jesus is. They both are so excited that God has opened the door for them to work with a group of people at Northeast Church that God has strategically put together, for such a time as this. They believe that together as a team that God has placed them with, not just them alone, along with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, they will be able to reach people, helping to guide them in learning about Jesus, and discipling them to accomplish the great commission found in Matthew 28:18-20.
Pastors Aubrey & Susana Avery along with their son, resides in Beulaville, NC. They have 2 adult children, and 2 grandchildren that they love tremendously.
